Kenan Fellow, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts | US     2024-2025

 - Selected for a year-long fellowship to develop and execute The Newcomer,

a multimedia project anchored by a short animated film

about recent Korean immigrants to the U.S., exploring pride in Korean cultural hybridity as it thrives in New York City’s Koreatown,

 - Presented at Lincoln Center’s Summer for the City Festival to over 250 participants,

with the animation receiving a distribution offer from Third World Newsreel.

 - Managed the end-to-end production over eight months,

including scripting, animating, editing, scheduling, team coordination, and management of a $3,200 production budget.

Pre-Screener, Mill Valley Film Festival | US     2025-2026

 - Selected to pre-screen short documentaries and provide summaries to support programming decisions.

Intern, Media Incubator Ori | KR     2020

 - Directed and produced a short documentary, securing an internship offer from a Sundance-winning editor.

 - Supported development and marketing of short documentaries

about minorities in South Korea through research, promotional thumbnail design, and trailer editing.

NYSCA Support for Artists Grant, Fiscal Sponsor: Third World Newsreel (TWN) | US     2026

 - Awarded a $10,000 Grant from New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA)

for the short documentary and an integrated social campaign, serving as a strategic proof-of-concept for a future television series.

 - The documentary explores the strength and agency of cultural hybridity,

as memories of food from the Korean diaspora are transformed into works of art.

The Newcomer Invited Screening, The Reel Sisters of the Diaspora Film Festival | US     2025

 - Short animated film The Newcomer invited for screening at an Academy Award–qualifying festival.

What Can We Do? Grant, Asian American Arts Alliance (A4) | US     2025

 - Awarded a $1500 grant for The Newcomer in recognition of its impactful engagement with NYC’s AAPI community.

Presented at Queens Botanical Garden in Flushing, engaging over 50 participants.

Semans Art Fund, UNCSA | US     2023

 - Secured a $4,000 grant as producer for Women of Acadia Street,

an anthology short film with an all–women and non-binary cast/crew; selected as a finalist at Freedom Festival International.

Pre-production Assistant, Feature Film The Conspiracist | US     2024

 - Researched and coordinated travel, lodging, and catering to support efficient crew logistics.

Producer, Short Anthology film Women of Acadia Street | US     2023

 - Managed all phases of the film’s lifecycle, including script development, scheduling, budgeting, team operations,

production and post-production logistics, as well as the film festival run.

 - When the director was unable to participate in filming due to COVID-19,

swiftly secured a replacement, adjusted the schedule within 9 hours, stabilized the team, and ensured timely completion.

Line Producer and 1st AD, Short Motion Capture Film Earthlings | US     2023

 - Revitalized a stalled project by establishing a comprehensive production framework;

developed the budget, pre-production plan, and shooting schedule to ensure successful execution.

Art Department, Short Film Joy | KR     2020

 - Original short film for the Korean feature film The Price of Goodbye,

recreating and designing hospital ward and funeral parlor sets to achieve realistic spatial authenticity.

 - Subsequently worked with the same director on the short film Sweet Ass as storyboard artist and script supervisor.
